The Kalita Wave series of pourover coffee drippers maximizes evenness in coffee extraction. The flat-bottomed geometry allows for more uniform brewing from all parts of the coffee bed, which allows the quality of the coffee to shine through. Additionally, the 20 waves molded in to each filter help to insulate the coffee bed from heat loss by reducing the contact with the dripper. The Wave Zone feature at the floor of the drippers provides a similar dynamic, as well as promotes flow out of the filter.
