We’re bringing the Good Vibes this summer with our newest seasonal blend. With notes of grape, tropical fruit and honey, you’ll feel like you’re sipping on a smoothie—just the thing to carry us through these heat waves.
Good Vibes is a 40/60 blend of two Ugandan coffees; Kisinga, and a donkey natural coffee from Bugoye. Both of these coffees were sourced in the Rwenzori mountain region, bordering the Democratic Republic of the Congo, by farmers trained in the latest developments in agronomy.
We fell in love with Kisinga back in 2019 when we visited the coffee station up in the Rwenzori mountains. This premium natural captivated us with its amazingly sweet, fruity, boozy notes that we felt represented the beautiful and lush area it is grown in.
Donkey Kisinga is the second coffee we’re using for Good Vibes. The higher the altitude coffee is growing at, the slower it matures, which results in a more complex, unique coffee profile. However, it can be hard to access these coffee farms using vehicles, and pushbikes can’t carry enough coffee, so a ‘donkey network’ was created to collect the ripe cherries from farms located in these remote areas and take them down to the washing station at Bugoye.
Good Vibes has been roasted to an omni roast profile, so it’s well-suited to espresso, filter or cold brew.
