Grind Information
Please note, our espresso grind is suitable for most home coffee machines. If you have a commercial grade coffee machine, E.g. Linea Mini, then please add an order note in your basket, requesting commercial espresso grind.
We would always recommend that you use a grinder at home in order to achieve the grind suitable for your particular brewing equipment, but we appreciate that this is not always possible, so we do offer our coffee as ground. We offer grind options that we think would achieve the best results from the numerous variations of machines and equipment that are available to consumers, but we cannot guarantee that our ground options will work with every unique set up.

Embers Seasonal origin
Introducing Embers, our new autumnal coffee that captures the essence of El Salvador's unique climate. Indulge in its notes of cinnamon, bourbon, and maple, a perfect tribute to autumn’s warmth and depth. Grown on the historic Finca Servia, nestled in the fertile volcanic soil of Ilamatepec, Embers embodies a legacy of resilience and innovation.
This unique coffee has been subtly infused with cinnamon by introducing cinnamon sticks to the green coffee for 2 weeks before removing for roasting.
El Salvador
Finca Serbia
A still active volcano in the west of the country, Ilamatepec (the local name of the Santa Ana volcano) does not only provide a rich and fertile soil, but also a microclimate with dry winters and warm summers in a country dominated by tropical weather. Not surprising that coffee has been widely cultivated as early as the 19th century and fueled the Salvadorian economy for years.
Located in El Congo, south of Santa Ana and near to the Lake Coatepeque, Finca Servia was founded back in 1930. Coffee has been its primary activity since its foundation. The farm cultivates coffee under shade trees, and has recently extended the varieties of the shade trees to cedars, oaks, and balsam in order to combat climate change. Those big and tall trees offer wider protection from the more and more intense summer sun.
