Introducing: Booths By The Bridge
Some places are more than just somewhere to eat and drink, they become part of the community. Places where familiar faces meet, families gather and visitors leave with memories as well as full stomachs. Booths by the Bridge is one of those special destinations; a family-run café in the heart of Tonna.

Set in an incredible location surrounded by the charm and character of the area, Booths by the Bridge offers far more than just a place to grab a coffee. It’s a destination where visitors can slow down, relax and enjoy time with family and friends. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly team, keeps people returning time and time again.
The location itself adds to the magic. Tonna has a fascinating history, with the area once playing an important role in the region’s industrial development through the late-18th-century Neath Canal. The original Tonna canal bridge, a protected single-span rubble stone arch dating back to the 1700s, remains a beautiful reminder of the area’s heritage. Today, Booths by the Bridge sits proudly within this historic setting, offering a peaceful spot where visitors can enjoy great food and drink surrounded by local character.

Inside, the café combines comfort and charm, with plenty of seating options to suit every visit. Whether you’re catching up over coffee or enjoying a relaxed lunch, there’s a space to enjoy the surroundings. For those who prefer to sit outside, the café offers plenty of outdoor seating, a shaded veranda and a children’s play area, making it the perfect destination for families looking to enjoy a day out together.
Of course, the heart of Booths by the Bridge is its incredible food and drink offering. From a beautifully prepared menu and sweet treats to freshly made pastries and expertly crafted coffee, every item reflects the care and passion that goes into the business. Alongside their coffee selection, guests can also enjoy a fantastic choice of beers from the tap and carefully selected wines, making it a great spot whether you’re visiting for your morning coffee, a leisurely lunch or an afternoon catch-up.
What makes Booths by the Bridge stand out is the sense of community they have created. Throughout their first year of being open, the café has hosted a variety of pop-up kitchen events, bringing together exciting food experiences and local talent. Their live music events have added another layer to the atmosphere, transforming the café into a lively gathering space where friends, families and visitors can come together and enjoy.
