After winning the first El Salvador Cup of Excellence competition in 2003, Aida Batlle has become somewhat of a celebrity in the specialty coffee industry. Her commitment to transparency and quality have garnered admiration as she has helped pioneer modern coffee processing practices. Batlle manages her family’s farms and has expanded her influence through working with other growers under the banner Aida Batlle Selection.
This coffee was produced by the J. Hill family on Finca Buenos Aires and is a result of that collaboration. All of Aida’s coffees are processed at the J. Hill mill located in Santa Ana, El Salvador.
