The Ideal candidate for our commis chef role should have experience within a working kitchen environment and have a food hygiene level 2 certification.
They should be comfortable in a fast paced food environment assisting the chef with food preparation and service to a high standard. monitor kitchen stock levels, delivered food items and storage, maintaining cleanliness of food preparation areas.

Our roastery is the center of our operations at coaltown from roasting and packaging our coffee to running barista classes in our coaltown academy for wholesale clients and the general public.
The roastery also houses a cafe & canteen that serves up to 70 people with coffee & soft drinks plus a full breakfast and lunch menu that is prepared within the kitchen and woodfire oven prep area.
